KITTIE Video Clips To Be Used In 'America's Hot Musician' Opening Theme
April 18, 2007"America's Hot Musician", the "American Idol"-like competition for instrumental musicians debuting on the Oxygen network in July, has announced that it will incorporate clips from the KITTIE video "What I Always Wanted" into the show's opening theme. The program, which features ex-KITTIE bassist Talena Atfield as one of the judges, was granted permission to use the footage by Artemis Records, who owns the rights to the video.
"America's Hot Musician" has a mission to promote instrumental music in popular culture and will feature clips from each of the judges in its opening theme. National Symphony Orchestra violinist Marissa Regni and Duke Ellington Orchestra trombonist Gregory Charles Royal will also have featured clips. New audio tracks have been set to the clips for a cohesive musical theme.
